What we collect
- Email address — when you choose to receive your quiz result profile and educational emails.
- Quiz answers and site activity — which questions you answer, missions you complete, and pages you view, linked to an anonymous identifier stored in a cookie.
- Approximate location (country) — derived from your IP address, used to show legally appropriate content for your region.
Profiling
Your quiz answers are used to assign a “trader type” profile that personalizes the educational content and emails you receive. For users outside the United States, this personalization may also determine whether we send information about third-party services (such as brokers) under compensated referral arrangements. We never sell or transfer your contact details to those third parties — any account you open is opened directly by you.
Who processes your data
- Resend — email delivery and contact management.
- PostHog — product analytics (proxied through our own domain).
- Railway — application and database hosting.
- Cloudflare — content delivery and security.
Cookies
anon_id— anonymous visitor identifier (1 year).geo_ip,geo_manual,geo_declared— your country, for region-appropriate content.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK: marketing email requires your explicit opt-in consent, which you can withdraw anytime via the unsubscribe link in any email. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing [email protected].
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
We do not sell your personal information for money. To opt out of any sharing of identifiers for analytics purposes, use your browser's Global Privacy Control (which we honor) or email [email protected] with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share.”
Retention
Lead and activity data is retained while your account/subscription is active and deleted upon verified request. Unsubscribed contacts are kept on a suppression list solely to honor the unsubscribe.
